10:08 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Starwood Property Trust ( STWD ) said Thursday it is offering $400 million of unsecured senior notes due 2030, in a private offering.

The notes will be offered to qualified institutional investors, Starwood Property ( STWD ) said.

The company said it plans to allocate the net proceeds from the offering to finance or refinance eligible green and social projects, with any unallocated funds temporarily used for general corporate purposes, including repaying outstanding debt.
