State Department approves potential sale of aircraft, torpedoes to Singapore for $2.3 billion, Pentagon says

Jan 20 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has ‌approved the ​potential sale ‍of maritime ⁠patrol ⁠and reconnaissance ‌aircraft ​and lightweight torpedoes and ⁠related ‍equipment ​to Singapore in a deal ‍valued at an estimated $2.3 billion, the ​Pentagon ‍said on Tuesday.

The ​principal contractor is Boeing ( BA ), according to the Pentagon.
