10:48 AM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) and Infineon Technologies said Thursday that they have agreed to work together on the power architecture that will support Stellantis' ( STLA ) electric vehicles.

The companies said they signed signed major supply and capacity agreements as part of the collaboration, covering Infineon's PROFET smart power switches, AURIX microcontrollers, and silicon carbide semiconductors. No financial details were disclosed.

According to the statement, the partners are also extending their cooperation by implementing a Joint Power Lab that will define the scalable and intelligent power architecture for Stellantis ( STLA ) vehicles.
