PARIS, Dec 2 (Reuters) - The board of Stellantis ( STLA )

is considering his head of North American operations,

Antonio Filosa, and procurement chief Maxime Picat as internal

candidates for the CEO position, a source close to the matter

said on Monday.

Stellantis ( STLA ) CEO Carlos Tavares resigned abruptly late on

Sunday over growing disagreements with the automaker's board and

its leading shareholders.

The source added that there are also external candidates for

the job.

A Stellantis ( STLA ) representative declined to comment.
