04:43 AM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) and Pony.ai (PONY) said Friday they have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to integrate Pony.ai's autonomous driving software with Stellantis' ( STLA ) medium-sized electric vans to deploy robotaxis in Europe.

The companies said they plan to begin testing vehicles based on the Peugeot e-Traveller in Luxembourg in the coming months, followed by a rollout across European cities starting next year.

The partnership will focus first on light commercial vehicles while laying the groundwork for autonomous transport for both goods and people, the companies said.

Pony.ai shares were down more than 4% in premarket activity.
