08:27 AM EST, 03/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) said Thursday that it pledges to boost American vehicle production and supports long-term manufacturing jobs.

Stellantis ( STLA ) said it is thanking US President Donald Trump for granting a one-month exemption from tariffs to products that comply with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement.

"We share the President's objective to build more American cars and create lasting American jobs. We look forward to working with him and his team," the company said.

The company said it announced new US investments in the early days of Trump's new administration and that it has invested billions of dollars in its US facilities and supplier network since the USMCA was enacted in his first term.
