Steris Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Net Income, Revenue Rise; Fiscal 2025 Guidance Reiterated -- Shares Drop After Hours

04:57 PM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Steris ( STE ) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted net income late Tuesday of $2.03 per diluted share, up from $1.84 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.98.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.28 billion, up from $1.18 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.27 billion.

For fiscal 2025, the company reiterated non-GAAP EPS of $9.05 to $9.25 with revenue from continuing operations expected to increase 6.5% to 7.5%.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for EPS of $9.14 on revenue of $5.49 billion, respectively.

Shares were down 8% in after-hours activity.
