08:59 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stifel Financial ( SF ) and Lord Abbett said Wednesday they have formed a leveraged lending joint venture called SBLA Private Credit.

They said senior representatives from Stifel Bank and Lord Abbett will manage SBLA Private Credit, which will focus on new issue and existing loans to small and mid-sized portfolio companies of financial sponsors.

Stifel and Lord Abbett have already co-invested across several loans, the firms said.
