05:13 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- STMicroelectronics ( STM ) has secured a multi-year deal with Renault Group's electric vehicle unit, Ampere, for the supply of silicon carbide power modules starting in 2026, the companies said Tuesday.

STMicroelectronics ( STM ) and Ampere have collaborated on the optimization of the power module for Ampere's new generation of electric motors, they said.
