04:18 AM EDT, 04/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- STMicroelectronics ( STM ) and Centrica Energy Trading said Wednesday they have signed a 10-year agreement for the supply of renewable energy in Italy beginning in January.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Centrica will annually provide STMicroelectronics ( STM ) with about 61 GWh of renewable energy, produced by a solar farm in Italy, for semiconductor manufacturing facilities near Milan and in Catania, as well as a number of research, design, sales, and marketing sites.
