STMicroelectronics Unveils New Industrial Microprocessor Series; Shares Rise

11:49 AM EST, 03/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- STMicroelectronics ( STM ) said Thursday it is releasing the new STM32MP2 industrial microprocessors with 64-bit processing and edge artificial-intelligence acceleration.

The company said the first units are scheduled to enter volume production in June.

STMicroelectronics ( STM ) shares rose 4.1% in recent trading Thursday.
