09:19 AM EST, 11/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stratasys ( SSYS ) unit iSQUARED said Wednesday that it has expanded its portfolio of materials validated for use in Stratasys ( SSYS ) 3D printers.

iSQUARED said it is working with its parent company to offer "iSQUARED Validated Materials" as part of the Stratasys OpenAM strategy.

The new materials will improve performance and reliability across Stratasys' ( SSYS ) range of 3D printers and will offer support for limited editions, customization, unique colors, and specialized properties, iSQUARED said.

iSQUARED said it is also creating a dedicated marketplace for pre-owned Stratasys ( SSYS ) 3D printing systems.

Stratasys ( SSYS ) shares were up 2.7% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
