Strategy Sells Over 516,000 Shares, Purchases 7,633 Bitcoins

01:32 PM EST, 02/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Strategy (MSTR) said Monday it sold 516,413 Class A shares between Feb. 3 and Feb. 9 for about $179 million.

During the same period, the company purchased around 7,633 bitcoins for roughly $742.4 million in cash, at an average price of about $97,255 per bitcoin, Strategy said, adding that the bitcoin acquisition was funded by proceeds from share sales.

As of Feb. 9, Strategy and its units held about 478,740 bitcoins, acquired at a total cost of around $31.1 billion, averaging about $65,033 per bitcoin, according to the company.

Shares were up 1.4% in recent trading.
