Motherson Sumi has a strong demand but acquisitions will impact the topline, said Vivek Chaand Sehgal, chairman of the company.

"We have a very strong demand coming up from all over but it is the acquisitions that will make much more of an impact to the topline,” said Sehgal.

The company's Hungarian plant has commenced operations this quarter while three new plants are likely to come on stream by 2020, he said, adding that "by 2019-2020, they will add approximately a billion US dollars to the topline".
