Mar 23, 2026 7:13 AM

09:51 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Stryker (SYK) said Monday its investigation of the March 11 cybersecurity attack has not identified any malicious activity directed towards its customers, suppliers, vendors, or partners, strengthening its belief that the incident has been "contained."

The investigation, which was done with Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) Unit42 and other experts, showed that the threat actor used a malicious file to run commands and allow hidden activity in the systems, Stryker said in a statement posted on its website.

Stryker said that the file was not capable of spreading inside or outside of its environment.

The company said it was prioritizing the restoration of systems that directly support customers, ordering, and shipping, adding that it was making "meaningful progress.
