10:49 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- StubHub's ( STUB ) Q2 gross merchandise sales beat was driven by the FIFA World Cup, but the company reiterated its 2026 EBITDA guidance amid potentially lower growth in H2 due to a pull-forward of demand related to the soccer event, Bank of America Securities said in a Thursday research report.
The brokerage said it lowered its Q3 gross merchandise sales estimate to $2.46 billion from $2.69 billion and its Q4 estimate to $2.50 billion.
BofA stated that 2027 will have tough H1 comps, but in the near term, the company's ticketing sales could rebound from August lows and drive upside if potential catalysts materialize, such as announcements of Tier 1 concert tours or robust fan interest in upcoming NFL and NBA seasons, according to the note.
The brokerage said it downgraded the stock to underperform from neutral and cut its price target to $7.50 per share from $11.
