Sturm, Ruger Buys Assets of Anderson Manufacturing

01:41 PM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sturm, Ruger & Co. ( RGR ) said Tuesday it completed the asset purchase of Anderson Manufacturing, a firearms and firearm accessories manufacturer based in Hebron, Kentucky.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

The purchase includes Anderson's manufacturing facility, along with its machinery and workforce, the company said.

The company said it will not continue the Anderson Manufacturing brand or product lines. Instead, it will integrate the facility's resources into its operations to support new product launches and growth in its existing firearms and accessories segments.

Shares of the company were up 1% in recent trading.
