03:49 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Summit Materials ( SUM ) reported a fiscal Q1 adjusted loss late Wednesday of $0.12 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.26 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a normalized per-share loss of $0.23.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 30 was $773.2 million, up from $407.3 million a year ago. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $800.1 million.
For full-year 2024, the company expects adjusted EBITDA to be in a range of $970 million to $1.01 billion, compared with its previous outlook of $950 million to $1.01 billion.
