09:43 AM EDT, 03/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sun Life Financial ( SLF ) said Monday it has named Timothy Deacon as chief financial officer, effective April 8.

Deacon will also be a member of the company's global executive team.

Deacon succeeds Manjit Singh, who is now president of Sun Life Asia, the company said.

Deacon was most recently at a pension plan with a global footprint where he was CFO, Sun Life said.
