05:33 PM EST, 02/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sun Life Financial ( SLF ) reported Q4 underlying earnings late Wednesday of $1.68 Canadian dollars ($1.17) per diluted share, unchanged from a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected CA$1.77.

As of Dec. 31, the company had cash, cash equivalents and short-term securities of CA$479 million.

Separately, the company said it maintained the quarterly dividend at CA$0.84 a share, payable March 31 to shareholders of record on Feb. 26.
