12:28 PM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SunCar Technology ( SDA ) said Thursday it forged new contracts and renewed existing ones with several branches of Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance, with a total value exceeding 30 million renminbi ($4.2 million).

The expanded automotive service collaboration covers all of Ping An's provincial branches including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Sichuan, Shenzhen, Shandong, Hebei, Beijing, and Anhui, SunCar ( SDA ) said.

The new agreements also involve a broader suite of value-added auto services, including clay bar waxing, polishing, wheel alignment, ozone disinfection, and air conditioning sterilization, SunCar ( SDA ) said.

SunCar's ( SDA ) shares were more than 4% higher in recent trading.
