06:00 PM EST, 11/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Suncor Energy ( SU ) reported Q3 adjusted operating earnings late Tuesday of CA$1.48 ($1.06) per share, down from CA$1.52 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected CA$1.12.

Revenue and other income for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to CA$13.06 billion from CA$12.64 billion a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected CA$13 billion.

Separately, the company said its board increased its quarterly dividend by 5% to CA$0.57 per share, payable Dec. 24 to shareholders of record at the close of business Dec. 3.
