SunPower Shares Fall Pre-Bell After Reportedly Pausing Some Operations

06:33 AM EDT, 07/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SunPower (SPWR) shares fell more than 17% in premarket activity Friday, a day after the solar energy company said it was pausing some operations.

Shares of the company fell 40% on Thursday's close.

SunPower said it would stop signing new deals and halt installation services for shipments in transit or already delivered, Reuters said Thursday, citing an email from the company to clients.

The company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
