11:54 AM EDT, 05/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SunPower (SPWR) shares were rising 31% in recent Wednesday trading as it said it will start offering Tesla's (TSLA) Powerwall 3 battery storage product.

The Powerwall 3 provides home backup and captures solar energy with an integrated inverter that is compatible with SunPower's Equinox system, SunPower said.

SunPower Financial has also expanded its financing options to include loan and lease financing for Tesla battery installations, the company said.
