09:39 AM EDT, 08/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sunstone Hotel Investors' ( SHO ) shares were 2.5% lower in recent early trading Wednesday, after the company reported Q2 adjusted funds from operations of $0.28 per diluted share, down from $0.33 a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.21.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $247.5 million, compared with $276.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $249.7 million.

For full-year 2024, the company said it now expects an adjusted FFO of $0.85 to $0.90 per diluted share, compared with $0.84 to $0.94, previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.69.
