04:31 AM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) and Ericsson (ERIC) said Tuesday they plan to jointly develop commercial bundles that integrate 5G connectivity with Edge AI systems to speed up deployment.

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding to combine Ericsson's enterprise wireless tools with Super Micro's edge compute platforms for real-time, local AI processing, they said.

The collaboration targets sectors like retail, manufacturing and healthcare, where "AI applications require low-latency response times," the companies said.
