Super Micro Computer Shares Tumble After Skipping Preliminary Q3 Results

02:03 PM EDT, 04/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) shares tumbled 20% in recent trading Friday after the company announced its fiscal Q3 earnings release date without offering preliminary results for the quarter.

The company had released preliminary Q2 results about 11 days before full earnings, boosting its sales outlook. The artificial-intelligence hardware company will release Q3 results on April 30.
