Feb 12 (Reuters) - Supermarket group Ahold Delhaize
reported slightly higher-than-expected sales for the
fourth quarter on Wednesday, as it saw volume recovery in the
U.S. and strong performance in Europe.
The Dutch group's revenue for the three months through
December 31 was 23.28 billion euros ($24.12 billion), while
analysts in a company-compiled poll had estimated it to be 23.21
billion euros.
