The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday barred the Committee of Creditors from taking a final decision on the bids made by Dalmia Bharat and UltraTech for the Binani Cement takeover.

The apex court has set a balance concern on both the sides. Dalmia of course was concerned that no decision should be finalized. UltraTech, on the other side, argued before the apex court that their bid is higher by as much as Rs 1,000 crore.
