02:29 PM EST, 01/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Surge Battery Metals ( NILIF ) on Tuesday said that Quaternary Group has acquired an additional 2.5-million common shares of the company since Oct. 15, 2025, through open market purchases.

The purchases increase Quaternary's equity stake in Surge to 7.8% on an undiluted basis, from 5.7%

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.08, to $0.88 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
