Surmodics Set to Close Sale to GTCR After FTC Drops Appeal Plan
Nov 17, 2025 5:00 AM

07:38 AM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Surmodics ( SRDX ) said Monday it expects to close its sale to an affiliate of GTCR promptly after the Federal Trade Commission and certain states told a federal court they won't appeal the denial of a bid to block the deal.

The temporary restraining order preventing the closing is set to expire late Monday, clearing the way for completion, the company said.

Shares of the company were up over 3% in recent Monday premarket activity.
