COPENHAGEN, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Swedish defence equipment
maker Saab said on Tuesday it has received an order
for its Giraffe 1X radars worth around $46 million from the U.S.
Army.
"The order underscores the growing demand for Saab's
advanced radar technology to strengthen air defence and
Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities worldwide,"
the company said in a statement.
Saab on Friday raised its full-year sales guidance on the
back of soaring military spending.
Delivery of the radars is expected at the beginning of next
year, Saab said.
The order was booked in Saab's third-quarter order intake,
the company said.
