09:26 AM EDT, 03/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Inc. ( SWSSF ) , a specialty coffee company and premium green coffee decaffeinator, overnight Wednesday reported its Q4 2023 results.

The company reported quarterly revenue of $41.2 million, compared with $44 million, last year. According to the statement, "volume decline and a drop in the NY 'C' contributed to the year-over-year drop in revenue."

Net income was $0.9 million, or $0.10 per share, compared with net loss of $0.25 million, or $(0.03) per share, in the prior year period. Swiss Water said he fourth quarter increase in net income was primarily due to higher volumes and efficiencies of scale.

Swiss Water said it finished the year in a strong liquidity position with over $11 million cash on hand in anticipation of the maturity of the $15 million debenture in October 2024.
