04:17 PM EDT, 08/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Symbotic ( SYM ) said Friday it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Veo Robotics for $8.7 million.

The assets include the FreeMove 3D depth-sensing computer vision system for industrial workcells and related intellectual property, the company said.

Symbotic ( SYM ) said it expects to increase productivity with more dynamic, flexible human-machine collaboration by integrating FreeMove into its robotic warehouse automation system.
