Symbotic Appoints Izzy Martins as CFO

04:19 PM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Symbotic ( SYM ) named Izzy Martins as chief financial officer, effective Aug. 9.

Martins will join as CFO-designate July 1, succeeding Carol Hibbard, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, Symbotic ( SYM ) said Monday in a statement.

Martins was most recently CFO at Avis Budget Group ( CAR ) .

Hibbard will remain until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition, Symbotic ( SYM ) said.

Separately, Avis named Daniel Cunha as CFO, effective July 1.

Cunha, 42, most recently was CFO at Orion Services Group, Avis said Monday in a regulatory filing.

Symbiotic shares rose 3.8% in after-hours trading, and Avis fell 1.7%.
