09:27 AM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Synopsys ( SNPS ) said Thursday it has completed its acquisition of Ansys ( ANSS ) .

The deal, first announced in January 2024, adds Ansys' ( ANSS ) system simulation and analysis capabilities to Synopsys' ( SNPS ) portfolio of chip design and IP tools, the company said.

Ansys' ( ANSS ) former CEO Ajel Gopal and board member Ravi Vijayaraghavan have joined Synopsys' ( SNPS ) board, effective immediately.
