04:53 PM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Synopsys ( SNPS ) said Wednesday that its design-checking software was approved by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) for use in the chipmaker's most advanced manufacturing technologies.

The two companies also teamed up on a new AI-powered design system to help speed up chip development.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Synopsys ( SNPS ) is working with TSMC to improve tools for analyzing heat and power in large, complex chip designs.
