11:25 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Syntec Optics ( OPTX ) said Monday it has secured orders for a new freeform prism subsystem that makes up high-brightness and high-contrast defense microdisplays used for viewing vital information.

The latest orders add to orders received for other versions of microdisplay optics already in production, with delivery set for 2024, the company said.

Shares of Syntec Optics ( OPTX ) were up more than 5% in recent trading.
