09:06 AM EDT, 07/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Syntec Optics ( OPTX ) said Friday it is planning to manufacture orders for two critical optics that fit in the next generation military optics systems.

The company said the new systems integrate several advanced technologies, including a variable magnification optic, laser rangefinder, visible and infrared lasers, a digital display overlay, and other sensing and calculating abilities.

The initial delivery of the mission-critical optics, valued at nearly $900,000, is scheduled over twelve months, with anticipated growth in subsequent years and a potential decade-long duration of orders.

Syntec shares were more than 3% higher in premarket trading.
