04:49 AM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) reported Q2 earnings Thursday of 15.36 New Taiwan dollars ($0.52) per diluted share, up from NT$9.56 a year earlier.
Analyst estimates were not readily available for comparison.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were NT$933.79 billion, up from NT$673.51 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected NT$891.57 billion.
For Q3, the company expects revenue of $31.8 billion to $33 billion.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect $30.7 billion.
For 2025, the company now expects revenue to increase by around 30% in US dollar terms, Chief Executive C. C. Wei said on an earnings conference call, according to a FactSet transcript. Taiwan Semiconductor previously projected growth of mid-20%, Bloomberg News reported.
The company's shares were up 4.3% in recent premarket activity.
