09:00 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tajiri Resources ( TAJIF ) reported on Wednesday drill results from the K5NW prospect within the Reo project in Burkina Faso.
Results were from the relogging of historic shallow scout drill holes as well as previously unreported drill intersections. Highlights include 4 meters at 12.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 2 meters at 8.0 g/t gold and 3 meters at 4.5 g/t gold.
The company said gold mineralization situated at the contact of a graphitic shale unit that is at least 200 meters wide remains open in all directions. The results are important because of what they mean for the larger K4-5 prospect, the company said.
"K4-5 is shaping up to be a long-term exploration play of large to giant scale with potential to host multiple gold mineralized zones," said Executive Chairman Dominic O'Sullivan.
