Talen Energy Unit Launching Private Offering of Senior Notes

08:01 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Talen Energy ( TLN ) said Thursday its Talen Energy Supply unit is launching a private offering of Senior Notes to qualified institutional buyers.

The unit is offering Senior Notes due 2034 and Senior Notes due 2036.

Talen Energy ( TLN ) said it intends to use net proceeds from the offering, along with financing from its $1.2 billion loan facility, to fund previously announced acquisitions of natural gas power plants in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
