Talisker Resources Begins Milling Mustang Ores at Nicola's Craigmont Mill
Jul 7, 2025 9:35 AM

12:22 PM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Talisker Resources ( TSKFF ) on Monday said it is milling and processing ores from its Mustang Mine at Nicola Mining's ( HUSIF ) Craigmont Mill in Merritt, British Columbia.

The company said Nicola completed the installation of the gravity circuit as planned in June and following comprehensive process testing began milling Talisker's material late last week.

The company said a total of 3,100 tonnes of orel has been transported to date from Mustang to Craigmont.

Talisker also noted that it continues to develop on the 1060, 1075, 1105 and 1120 levels with in-vein development active on the BK vein on the 1075 level and both the BK and BK9870 veins on the 1105 level.

The company further stated that long-hole drilling in preparation for the mining and extraction of the first stope is underway targeting the 3264 stope from the Alhambra vein located between the 1060 and 1075 levels. Blasting and extraction of the first stope is expected to occur later this week.

"We are excited to be processing our first run of mine material with our milling partner Nicola, a major milestone for the company," said Chief Executive Officer Terry Harbort. "In addition, the advance of simultaneous development on the Alhambra, BK and BK9870 veins provides Talisker various working fronts on multiple levels. We eagerly look forward to the blasting of our first production stope this week."

The company's shares were last seen up $0.0075 to $0.4725 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
