11:04 AM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tandem Diabetes Care ( TNDM ) struck a deal with Abbott (ABT) to integrate Abbott's under-development dual glucose-ketone sensor with its insulin delivery systems, Tandem said Tuesday.

The Abbott sensor will combine glucose and ketone sensing technology to detect early ketone rise to avoid diabetic ketoacidosis.

Tandem said the integration will provide more options to patients for diabetes management.

Tandem shares were up more than 4% in recent trading.
