10:23 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tandem Diabetes Care ( TNDM ) said Tuesday it has signed a collaboration agreement with the University of Virginia Center for Diabetes Technology for research and development projects focused on insulin delivery systems.

The collaboration will expand on Tandem's research into automated closed-loop insulin delivery technology, the company said.

Tandem said it will provide research funding, technology and supplies to the university for diabetes-centered research and potential clinical trials.
