Targa Exploration Launches Exploration Campaign at Opinaca Gold and Lithium Project in Quebec

08:58 AM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Targa Exploration ( TRGEF ) said Tuesday that it has initiated its fully-funded 2024 exploration program at the company's flagship Opinaca Gold and Lithium project in the James Bay region of Quebec.

The company said that the sampling crew has been mobilized to camp and work will begin this week.

Targa plans to take a total of 3,000 till samples up-ice from identified gold and lithium anomalies. Field work is expected to be completed by July 7 with lab results expected in August.

The company's shares gained 5.3% in Canada yesterday.
