Teck Resources' Production Cuts 'Broadly Consistent' With Due Diligence, Anglo American Says
Oct 8, 2025 6:19 AM

08:52 AM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Teck Resources ( TECK ) copper production guidance cuts for its Quebrada Blanca mine in Chile are "broadly consistent" with Anglo American's independent due diligence and analysis, the British mining company said Wednesday.

On this basis, the strategic rational of Anglo American's merger with Teck Resources ( TECK ) and all synergy values and their timing remains unchanged, Anglo American said in a press release.

Based on integration discussions with Teck, Anglo American shares Teck's view about the full potential of Quebrada Blanca and believes the merger will unlock material additional value with its Collahuasi mine adjacency, the company said.
