Tecnoglass Rejects Short Seller Report, Reaffirms 2025 Outlook
Aug 21, 2025 12:39 PM

03:23 PM EDT, 08/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tecnoglass ( TGLS ) said Thursday it "categorically" rejected a short seller report, calling the claims "false, misleading, and unsubstantiated," while reaffirming its recently raised 2025 guidance.

The company said it remains committed to transparency, governance and ethical practices, and may pursue legal action against those responsible for the report to protect shareholders and market integrity.

The statement comes after Culper Research published a report earlier Thursday alleging irregularities and raising concerns about the company and its executives.

Additionally, Tecnoglass ( TGLS ) reaffirmed its 2025 outlook, which it raised earlier this month, citing solid first-half results and continued momentum across the business, and said it expects another year of strong profitability and cash generation.

The company highlights its share repurchase program as a sign of management's confidence that the stock remains undervalued.

Shares of Tecnoglass ( TGLS ) were down nearly 1% in recent trading.
