08:26 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tecnoglass ( TGLS ) said Tuesday that it achieved carbon neutrality for the years 2022 and 2023.

Despite increased production, Tecnoglass ( TGLS ) said it capped its total greenhouse gas emissions across all scopes at 390.411 tCO2eq/year in 2023.

Tecnoglass ( TGLS ) aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, according to the company statement.

Shares of the company fell 0.8% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
