MEXICO CITY, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Mexican
telecommunications giant America Movil reported on
Tuesday a third-quarter net profit that more than tripled
compared to the same period a year ago, landing at 6.43 billion
pesos.
Revenues of the company, controlled by the family of Mexican
billionaire Carlos Slim, came in at 223.46 billion pesos for the
period, up nearly 10% year-on-year.
